The Biribá Tree reaches up to 59 feet. The Trunk measures between 15 to 23 inches. It has a dense canopy with a pyramid shape. The fruit blossoms between march and June. The fruit can be eaten raw and is for for Juices, Ice Creams and Shakes.
Flourishes along the Costal Region of Brazil and very popular al over the Country.
The wood is used to make an instrument called Berimbau, very popular for those who practice Capoeira, a famous dance in the State of Bahia (located in Southeast of Brazil).
