Quintino Bocaiuva St

Located in the Neighborhoods Umarizal, and Nazare, it was named to honor Journalist Mr Quintino Bocaiuva. He was also the Minister of Agriculture and External Affairs. When in Rio de Janeiro , he founded the Republican Club, where students and Military people used to attend.
Before bearing his name , this street used to be called Prínce.
Located in the Neighborhood Umarizal, it was named to honor The Italian João Batista Balbi. He moved from Italy to Belem in 1819 and worked hard for the independence of Brazil. He also contributed to the movement in favor of the independence of the State.
