Crossing the neighborhoods of Batista Campos and Nazaré, it was named in honor of General Inocêncio Serzedelo Correa. He was A Minister and also a Military Engineer. He was also a Politician. He was born in Belém on the 15th of June 1858. Died in 5th of June,1932.

In the old days, this Avenue was named Cemitery, because  of the Soledade Cemitery which is near by.Later, it became São Vicente and finaly Serzedelo.
