Siqueira Mendes St

Located in the Neighborhood of Cidade Velha, it was the first Street opened by the Portuguese. Its First name was " North". Later, It was named in Honor of Clergy Man Manuel José Siqueira Mendes. Born in the Town of Cameta in Pará, He was the main figure of the Conservative Party in the State. He also was the  President of the Province between Sept 29th and October 18th,  1868.
