Located in the Neighborhood Umarizal going up to Batista Campos, it was named in honor of Marshal Manuel Deodoro da Fonseca, first president of Brazil, born in 1827. He died in 1892. It previous named was Road December 2nd, which was the birthday of Emperor Pedro II.
