Champagnat Priest St

Located in the neighbohood "Old City" , it was named to honor Priest Marcelino José Bento Champagnat. He was born in France in 1789 and founder of the famous Congregation named Maristas. He was a Great Educator of Youngsters as well as Adults.
The School Marista located in the Nazare St was founded by his Congregation in Belém over 100 years ago.
