Scientific Name : Platoniainsignis Mart

Bacuri is native Fruit tree found in Pará, Tocantins, Goiás, Mato Grosso States and even in Paraguay. When it reaches 15 to 20  years of age, one Tree can produce around 1.000 fruits in one season. It can reach up to 30 meters (98 ft)  high and a diameter of 1 meter (3.28 ft). The Pulp is only 20% of the fruit. It Blossoms between June and July.
