If the Jackfruit dries in the sun, it is sold in the market as jackfruit chips but they can also be eaten raw or as sweet meal when getting out the yellowish pulp. It has a high amount of vitamin C (13,8 mg per 100 g.). The seeds can be cooked and roasted and used in curry, meal or baking. Immature fruits are peeled and cooked as vegetables in various meals.
