Scientific name: Cucumis melo

There are many different types of melon but all are round with juicy pulp. It can be green, yellow, pink, orange or white and has many seeds in it. When cooked, they can be eaten. There are sweet types which are used as desserts while the non-sweet types are similar to cucumber as vegetables. It has many fibres which help against congestion while the high amount of water help against diarrhea.
